what item would you buy full price?

I cannot remember the last time I purchased something without a coupon code or the nudge of an end-of-season sale. I don’t do impulse purchases for clothing; I prefer my style to braise like short ribs in red wine; by the time I hit that purchase button, we need to be at the fall-off-the-bone, melt in your mouth stage.

So this question has me stumped, because I truly don’t know that I’d buy anything full price...ever. Taking into account the fact that life has gotten so expensive and the quality of fashion has gone down, but also considering the fact that I simply do not want to own anything that isn’t reinforcing my sense of style.
